Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, William!
My family and I absolutely love our
Memory Maker photos! We’ve used the
Disney PhotoPass Service to capture our
Walt Disney World Resort memories since our first family vacation almost eight years ago. With two options (Memory Maker that starts immediately and the Memory Maker advance purchase), you might be seeing watermarked photos for a couple of reasons.
If you purchased the Memory Maker in advance of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, photos taken within three days of your initial purchase will not be included in your downloads. If you’re seeing watermarks on photos taken within that window, that will be the problem. If you purchased Memory Maker for immediate use, though, you may be seeing the watermark because your Memory Maker has not yet been activated. My fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelist Andrea has some
tips for activating your Memory Maker purchase within your
My Disney Experience account online or via the
My Disney Experience mobile app.
If you’re still seeing the watermarks after you’ve activated your Memory Maker, first try logging out of your My Disney Experience account and logging back in again. Should you still have issues, you can call the
Disney PhotoPass helpline and a Cast Member can walk through your issues with you over the phone.
I hope your situation is sorted out soon, William, and that you’re able to download all of your fabulous Walt Disney World Resort vacation photo memories with ease.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions; we’re always happy to help.
