    This is a addition to my previous question about using my MB for food purchases in parks... Can I use my MB for non-food purchases in the parks? And can I still use my MB for food and purchases at my resort hotel?

    Hi there, Linda!

    You sound just like me. When I am on a vacation at Walt Disney World Resort, I want to use my MagicBand for everything. If I could enter the park without bringing anything but my MagicBand and my cell phone to access the trusty My Disney Experience Mobile App, I would be in heaven.

    Linda, I am happy to report that although you are unable to use your MagicBand for Mobile Ordering, you are absolutely still able to use it to pay for merchandise throughout the park. You are also still able to use your handy dandy MagicBand for your hotel key, theme park ticket, and PhotoPass downloads. 

    When it comes to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can use your MagicBand for purchases in your hotel gift shops and at any table service restaurants. When we were there in December, we were required to use Mobile Ordering for any quick service meals in our resort as well as at the theme parks.  

    I hope that this gave you a little clarity on the MagicBand situation, Linda!
