    ADDICTED TO PANEL! LEARNED SO MUCH FOR VACA! me & bf celebrating 2 yr anniversary on 1st disney trip together! so excited! we are very interested in the drink around the world at Epcot, spending day there+firewrks. Can we have more info about it?

    The "Drink Around the World" is a time-honored way to spend a day (or several days) at Epcot. It involves sampling a representative beverage at each of the 11 countries of the World Showcase. The cost will vary depending on what you choose to drink and how many of the drinks will be shared by more than on person -- advisable unless you've got nothing on your agenda for the next several days except napping and drinking black coffee ;-)

    Most of the adult beverage at Epcot will cost between $5.00 and $9.00 per serving (prices can change). For example, Moroccan wine is $4.95, German beers are $7.00, Mexican frozen margaritas are $8.50, a British Black & Tan is $7.50, and Italian prosecco is $7.00.

    Of course there is much more to do at Epcot than just drinking. Future World has wonderful rides such as Soarin, Test Track, and Mission Space (ride this one BEFORE you do your drinking). And the World Showcase has wonderful themed shops, performers, and other attractions. I love spending an afternoon there just wandering around. Epcot's World Showcase also has many of the most interesting restaurants at WDW. I love Teppan Edo in Japan, Le Cellier in Canada, and the Rose and Crown in England.

    You'll want to make sure you end your evening with Illuminations, a light and sound show like no other. Illuminations is shown at Epcot almost every night. Double check the park calendar for timing, but generally the show is at 9:00 p.m.
