I added tickets for two adults to my Disneyland app, planning to always enter the park together. Since then, we realized there may be times we want to enter separately and so we each need our tickets on our apps. How do I move her ticket to her app?

Hello, Dakota. Welcome to planDisney. You’re coming to Disneyland! How cool is that?! The answer to your question is quick and easy. Let’s get right to it so you can get back to planning your trip!

On your Disneyland Mobile App, press the (☰) and then “Tickets & Passes.” Swipe sideways until you see the ticket you’ve assigned to your friend, and look for the long number underneath the barcode. Let’s be real, it’s a lot of numbers. Sheesh. So your friend needs that ticket number. Then she should press the (☰) icon in her Disneyland Mobile App, then “Tickets & Passes.” She should then press the blue (+) in the upper-right corner, then “Link Tickets & Passes.” If you’re in the same place as her, she can either scan the barcode from the ticket on your phone, or she can press “Type ID” and, well, type the ID, which is that super long number from her ticket. Boom! Linked! She can now scan herself into the parks without an issue.

Dakota, you and your friend are coming at a great time of year! Two of the Disneyland Resort’s most beloved attractions are getting an update, just in time for your trip! Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will have a new mission featuring Mando and Grogu starting on May 22nd. Jump to lightspeed and get to Galaxy’s Edge right away. Also, Soarin’ is being transformed to Soarin’ Across America, starting July 2nd. There may even be an appearance by our favorite Chief Flight Attendant.

I hope the plans for your trip go smoothly. If you need more planning tips for the parks, don’t hesitate to ask. At planDisney, we’re always happy to help.

I hope you have a magical day.
