I'm so sorry to hear that you are having difficulties with your
MagicBand+ because your ticket is linked to someone else's Disney account. You are correct that you will need your ticket to link to your Disney account so you can then link the MagicBand+ to your ticket. The easiest remedy for this would be to ask the other person to provide you with the Ticket ID number for your ticket. When they go to the Ticket & Passes screen in the
Disneyland app, the Ticket ID number is located under the digital barcode. Your ticket can remain linked to their app as well without any issues. If you want your ticket removed from their Disney account, they will need to chat or call
Guest Services.
Once your ticket is linked to your Disney account you will be able to assign your MagicBand+ to your ticket. You can only assign a MagicBand+ to one ticket at a time not multiple tickets. If can unassign your MagicBand+ from a ticket at any time and assign it to a new ticket or Magic Key.
