I am thrilled to hear you are going to be visiting Disneyland Resort for the first time next week! How exciting! I actually just took a look at the weather earlier today because I too will be visiting the parks next week and it's going to be toasty for sure. The good news is as hot as it will be, you won't be dealing with the humidity like you would in Florida. I'm happy to share some of my favorite ways to beat the heat at Disneyland Resort.
In Disneyland Park, I prioritize the attractions that have indoor rides and/or queues, like Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones Adventure, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run,
"it's a small world", Space Mountain, and more. I also love taking a midday break on the Disneyland Railroad train around the park once or twice. Of course, the heat is also the perfect excuse for a Dole Whip from Tropical Hideaway. Don't forget about

Over at Disney California Adventure Park, I head to Hollywood Land where I can experience
Animation Academy, Sorcerer's Workshop, and Turtle Talk with Crush. If you aren't afraid of getting a little or a lotta wet, Grizzly River Run will help you cool off! Just across the walkway from Grizzly River Run is an entrance to
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, I love walking through the lobby, visiting the shops, and grabbing a drink from the GCH Craftsman Bar &. Grill.
