Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Steven! It is my pleasure to assist you with your vacation question.
My Disney Experience is a wonderful vacation tool, allowing you to make and manage nearly all of your
Walt Disney World vacation plans. If you haven’t already done so, I highly recommend that you download the
My Disney Experience mobile app. This will allow you to view your vacation plans,
Disney PhotoPass photos, attraction wait times,
place mobile orders at select quick-service restaurants, and navigate the parks with turn-by-turn instructions using the Get Directions function all from your mobile device.
It sounds like the issue you are having with linking your daughter to your current
Disney Vacation Club reservation is that her plans are currently managed by Mom. In order to also
manage your daughter’s My Disney Experience profile you will need to follow a few easy steps. First, ensure that you and her mother are connected on My Disney Experience. If not, you will need to send an invitation to connect. You will then need to add your daughter by selecting “Add a Guest”, choosing the “Find Through My Connected Guests” option. You should see your daughter’s profile and be able to select her to add to your Friends & Family List. Once you have done this, her mother should receive an email asking for permission to allow you to add your daughter to your Friends & Family List. After permission has been granted, you both should be able to manage plans for your daughter, allowing you to add her to your existing Disney Vacation Club reservation and as you continue to make the rest of your vacation plans. If you encounter any issues with this problem or are still receiving the error message, please reach out to the
My Disney Experience Help Center at (407) 939-4357.
I hope that you and your daughter have an absolutely magical vacation! Please stop by any time we can help you with your vacation questions.
