If I add the water park and more can I go to the waterpark the same day as a major theme park or do I need to add park hopper for this? We have a six night magic your way ticket now but given the heat in August thinking it might be worth it to add this.

Hi Ben, With a basic, non-Hopper, park ticket with the Water Park Fun add-on, you can visit both a theme park and a water park in the same day. Water park and them park admissions are unrelated. If you'd like, you can decide to add the water park option after your arrival at WDW. Even with the August heat, you might run into a rainy stretch during your visit. If you wait to purchase the water park option until after your arrival you can be sure that you won't be wasting money in the event of a wash out.
