    I would like to add travel insurance to my planned package. I must pay in full today. The travel iinsurance fine print says it must be purchased prior to paying in full. I cannot reach anyone to help me via phone. I held for 90 mins.

    I hope that you were able to get through before you had to pay your package (including accommodations and theme park tickets) in full! You are correct that you must have an outstanding balance on your account to purchase a travel insurance policy directly through Disney. 

    Emilie, if you were not able to purchase the insurance directly through Disney, I also encourage you to check and see if any of your credit cards or existing memberships at places like AAA offer travel insurance as an added perk! You can also look into travel insurance offered by third-party companies.
