Hi Samantha!
Welcome to planDisney! It’s always fun to see a fellow Hoosier send in a question. While I can appreciate the beauty of an Indiana sunset across a field of corn, my favorite sunset is always the one at Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom! (I especially miss that view during our Indiana winter!)
Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets are easy to purchase online and link to
My Disney Experience. If someone has decided to join you on your trip, they can purchase their ticket and make the required
Park Pass Reservations. If you purchased your tickets through a room and ticket package, additional Guests can purchase tickets separately. If you received a special promotion on your tickets, your additional Guest would not eligible for that discount, since it has now ended. There are not currently any publicly available
Special Offers on tickets.
Be sure to check the
Theme Park Availability Calendar before purchasing to be sure you will be able to have your additional Guest join you at the same theme parks you have reservations for.
If you need to add this Guest to your room reservation you’ll need to
call Disney to do this. I know hold times can be lengthy, so I recommend calling right when the phone lines open at 7 AM Eastern for the shortest waits.
If you are interested in adding additional days or upgrading to the
Park Hopper Option or Water Parks and Sports Option for your multi-day tickets, that can also be done. You can call ticketing before arrival, or you can add days or upgrade at any ticket booth or Guest Services window at a theme park or Disney Springs, as long as you have at least one day of ticket entitlement remaining.
I hope this helps answer your question, Samantha! If you have any additional questions before your visit, send them our way!
Have a Magical Day!
- Kate
