Hi Tina, and welcome to planDisney! We’re always delighted to help you plan a magical adventure.
As the planner in my group, I know firsthand how managing everyone’s tickets can feel like a tall order. Luckily, the
Disneyland App makes it incredibly easy to add your friends and family to your MyDisney account. To get started, log in to your My Disney Account through the app. Once you’re in, tap the menu icon (those three magical horizontal lines) in the bottom right corner and select “My Tickets and Passes.” On this screen, click the plus icon in the top right corner to open the “Link Tickets and Passes” option. From there, you can either manually enter the barcode number for each ticket or let the app’s camera feature do the work by scanning the barcode. Once a ticket is linked, the person using it will officially be part of your MyDisney crew!
Once everyone is connected in the app, you’ll have the power to make park reservations, schedule
Lightning Lane return times, and even share those priceless PhotoPass photos. One tip my wife and I love to use in the parks is to divide and conquer. On a busy day, I’ll handle our Lightning Lane bookings while she takes charge of mobile dining orders. Sharing the workload means less stress and more time to soak in the magic together. After all, you’ll want to enjoy every enchanting moment.
Tina, I have one more Q-Tip about the Disneyland App that will make your trip even more magical. Don’t forget to use it to track down your favorite Disney Characters! The Characters tab shows where and when you can meet beloved Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars friends throughout
Disneyland and
Disney California Adventure. Going on a character hunt is a fantastic way to enhance your day. There’s nothing quite like spotting Mickey in his house in ToonTown, or catching Spider-Man swinging by Avengers Campus to make your heart skip a beat!
If you have any more questions about the Disneyland App or need help preparing for your visit, Tina, don’t hesitate to return to planDisney. We’re here to sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on your plans!
Enjoy your visit,
David
