If I would like to add a second room (adjoining) to my package do I have to have a second adult 18+ on my reservation? How do I add a second "room only" reservation to my already existing vacation package reservation. Thanks

Hi there, Kraig! Welcome back to planDisney! Thank you for taking the time to reach back out and allowing us to help you plan another vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

When staying with the Disney Resorts Collection, there are a variety of ways you can build a vacation that fits your party’s needs and wants! There are many different types of Disney Resort hotels that offer various levels of amenities as well as different intricate themes. My family and I love staying at different Disney Resort hotels and experiencing everything they have to offer!

In order to reserve and check into a Disney Resort hotel, there must be a Guest over the age of 18 on present and on the reservation. This means that you will need another adult Guest on the second room reservation. Currently, you cannot add a second room to an existing reservation but you can create a separate, second reservation. The easiest way to do this is by calling the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone line and speaking with a Cast Member about your requests directly. They will also be able to specify that you would like a connecting room on your two reservations.

Another option would be to modify your initial reservation and book one of the Family Suites available at both Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and Disney’s All-Star Music Resort. Both of these resorts have accommodations that are able to fit up to six Guests while also sporting a kitchenette area for light meal prep. This is a great option for larger parties that want more room to relax during their downtime!

I hope you have a wonderful time visiting Walt Disney World Resort later this year! Be sure to let us know if we can provide any other planning assistance!
