Howdy, Melinda! Thank you for bringing this great question to us at planDisney!
In my personal opinion, you're going to be staying at one of the hidden gems at
Walt Disney World Resort!
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is an amazing location with so much to see and do. To me, there's nothing better than an exciting day in the parks, then ending the evening among the towering pines, gazing up at the stars. Melinda, I think you're going to have an extra special trip!
I know you're wondering if you're able to request a rollaway bed at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. After speaking with a Cast Member, they informed me that rollaway beds are no longer available due to current Florida fire and safety codes. I know this isn't the answer you were hoping for, but I think you're going to find the cabins to be roomy and comfortable - with accommodations for up to six adults! And since you'll be staying at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, you'll be able to take advantage of everything that this location has to offer.
For example, did you see that
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is back? This is one of my favorite experiences at Walt Disney World Resort and I can't wait to see the show again (and eat some STRAW. BERRY. SHORTCAKE!). You can settle in for a fun
campfire and even check out
Tri-Circle-D Ranch! You won't want to miss some of the dining, either. Be sure to check out, or make an
advance dining reservation for,
Trail's End Restaurant. You can even place a
mobile order through the
My Disney Experience app for
P & J's Southern Takeout, so you know your meals and snacks will be ready for you before you ever feel a rumbly in your tumbly. Don't forget to also make your Theme Park Reservations with the
Disney Park Pass system, which is an important step to reserve the parks you wish to visit on each day of your trip!
If you have any other questions, I hope you visit us again. After all, you've got a friend in me!
Ride like the wind, Bullseye!
