Hey Howdy Hey Janet and welcome back to planDisney fellow Buckeye!
One of the hardest parts about planning your vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort is finding the right balance of time in the parks! Once the planning really gets going, I'm not sure how many days is enough but there is always room for more! Thank you for your question about adding days in the parks to your Magical vacation next year. Let's go over two ways to get this done.
Your first option to add on theme park tickets would be through your
My Disney Experience account. It sounds like you booked both tickets and a stay at a Disney Resorts hotel which, when booked together, are a vacation package. These are super flexible until you are within 30 days of your date of travel. When you log in online, you should see your reservation under the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section. To the right of your reservation, you should also see a blue hyperlink that says"Modify Reservation" or something similar. Click on that option and go to the theme park tickets to modify accordingly. Once you do, you will then go through a few other options eventually coming to a screen to verify your change with a new total listed. Once you hit the confirmation button, you should be all set!
Another way you can get this done is by
calling Disney. Feel free to give them a call and talk with a Cast Member about your situation adding an extra couple of days to your tickets and they will be more than happy to help get this done for you. Either way, it is an easy fix to experience the Magic of the Disney parks for a few extra days!
Janet, I always feel that planning a trip to Walt Disney World is half the fun of the vacation experience and I hope you do as well. If you have any other questions about your upcoming vacation please let us know, we are always looking for any excuse to talk Disney!
To Infinity and Beyond,
Nick
