Hi Susanthan! Welcome to planDisney!
July will be here before you know it and soon you and your family will be "wheels up" and on your way to
Walt Disney World Resort! It sounds like you're getting your daily itineraries ready and deciding how to fit everything in. While I sincerely wish it was possible to see and do it all during one vacation, there's just so much to take in! It never bothers me if I miss something though, it just makes for a good excuse to book another trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth!
My family and I always, always, ALWAYS purchase
Park Hopper Option Theme Park Tickets. In fact, in all of my visits, I can't remember a time we didn't "hop" from Park to Park. We love the freedom of "rope-dropping" at
Magic Kingdom and heading straight to our favorite attraction,
Peter Pan's Flight. After that, we stop for a quick Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich (my absolute favorite Disney snack!) from
Sleepy Hollow. In the middle of the day, we head back to our Disney Resorts Collection hotel for a nap and a swim before heading to another Park, like
EPCOT, in the evening. We love to make dinner reservations and catch
Harmonious, the new nighttime spectacular. I think park hopping is a great way to see and do as much as possible and then have the chance to go back to a Park again if you wish.
While it is possible to upgrade your Standard
Theme Park Ticket to a Park Hopper Option at any time as long as the current Ticket is still valid, you will not be able to purchase the Park Hopper Option for only one day of your multiple-day ticket. This means that if you would like to upgrade to the Park Hopper Option you will be charged the full amount for the length of your ticket, not just the days you wish to upgrade. If you're hoping to Park Hop on even one day of your trip it would be in your best interest to upgrade before you even scan into your first Park, ensuring you get the most out of your upgrade.
Most likely you can upgrade your Theme Park Tickets right in your My Disney Experience account. Just open your
My Disney Experience Mobile app, click the three horizontal lines at the bottom, and then click "Tickets and Passes". From here you should see your current Theme Park Tickets and a "Change Tickets" button if you have the ability to change them yourself. If you're having trouble you can always speak with a Cast Member at the Existing Tickets phone line at (407) 934-7639 or any Guest Relations booth outside of each of the four Theme Parks.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful and "hoppy" vacation!
