Hello Ashley,
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for submitting your question to us.
You’re “almost there” to your visit dates to the
Disneyland Resort! Your visit will occur during the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival! Have you reviewed the offering during this celebration? Take a peek at
Disney Eats: Foodie Guide to Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival 2024 for all the menu options that will have you
Soarin’ Over California!
There are no “trials and tribulations” to adding a
Park Hopper to your existing ticket! If you have an existing and unused theme park ticket, then you can add Park Hopper by speaking with a friendly Cast Member on the
Tickets line! They will happily assist with upgrading your current theme park ticket. You will need to pay the difference over the phone, so be sure your payment information is up-to-date in your Disney account! I have waved my magic wand and reviewed the
Theme Park Reservation Calendar for park reservation availability, and can say that as of today, both theme parks have reservations, so you can hop between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park (subject to change)!
Tip from Tiffany: Remember that when you add a Park Hopper to your existing ticket, you do not have to make another reservation for the next park you visit! Theme park reservations are a requirement, but only for the first park you visit! So be sure to have your park reservation selected for either
Disneyland Park or
Disney California Adventure Park for rope drop! Then once the clock strikes 11:00 AM PST (hours subject to change), you can hop back and forth as many times as your heart desires (and as long as the parks don’t reach capacity!).
And don't forget to stop by
Tiana's Palace and order some of her man-catching
beignets!
Wishing you blue skies and sunshine during your visit to the Disneyland Resort!
Tiffany
