Hi Stephanie! Welcome to planDisney!
You're in for a fantastic time when you plan a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth, especially as we continue celebrating
Walt Disney World Resort's 50th Anniversary! Right now, through March 31, 2023, you and your traveling party can take in awesome anniversary entertainment like
Mickey's Celebration Cavalcade, purchase extra-special merchandise from the
50th Anniversary Celebration collection, and be treated to fun 50th anniversary
PhotoPass Magic Shots. I'm sure you also know that even once this magical celebration ends there's still plenty of pixie-dusted fun around every corner!
As a seasoned visitor to Walt Disney World Resort, I have to say that my absolute number one tip is to add the
Park Hopper Option on to your
Standard Theme Park Ticket! I simply cannot remember visiting without being able to "hop" from one Park to another throughout the day. I really look forward to planning my days, which usually include spending the morning at one Theme Park, taking a swim and a rest at our
Disney Resorts Collection hotel mid-afternoon, and visiting a second Theme Park for dinner and fireworks.
While you will find that you certainly can add the Park Hopper Option to your Standard Theme Park Ticket anytime as long as your Ticket is not expired and still has at least one admission left on it, it is in your best interest to Park Hop for the entirety of your vacation or not at all. This is because the price of adding the Park Hopper Option to your Standard Theme Park Ticket is a flat rate depending on the length of your original Ticket, no matter how many days you plan to "hop". Park Hopping is a great way to catch those last-minute hard-to-find dinner reservations within the Parks or to visit a Park at night just to take in the nighttime spectacular.
Whatever you choose, I hope you and your party have a wonderful Walt Disney World experience!
