While I don't think Guests need any reason to head to
Walt Disney World Resort, celebrating a birthday while at The Most Magical Place on Earth is truly the icing on top of an already magical day! As a child, I visited the Resort for many birthdays and I always remember blowing out some extra special candles in the presence of some of my favorite furry pals at a
Character Dining Experience.
Since Guests are able to book
Advance Dining Reservations up to 60 days before their arrival at the Resort I bet your vacation is quickly approaching if you've already made your birthday dinner plans! Whether you've chosen to celebrate at a Character Dining Experience such as Chef Mickey's, a rootin'-tootin' dinner show like the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, or a sophisticated and upscale Signature Dining Experience at
Narcoossee's you're sure to have an unforgettable time.
Even though you've already made your dinner reservations you're still able to add a little extra "something" to celebrate the birthday boy or girl. Adding a
Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake is the perfect way to help the birthday guest make a wish and to share a sweet treat at the end of your meal. These cakes, which feed 4-6 Guests and are completely edible (even the Mickey ears!) can be ordered at the host podium of your participating dining location. Click the link above to see all the locations which offer these incredible cakes! If you're at the Resort a few days before the big birthday dinner I would stop by the dining location and make your request in person at the host podium. If you're unable to do this you can always request a cake when you arrive for your reservation, though quantities are limited each day.
Don't forget you always have the option of stopping by
Amorette's Patisserie at Disney Springs or calling (407)934-3500 to choose some sweet treats or put in a personalized order. Custom orders need to be placed at least 48 hours in advance and you will need to head to Disney Springs to pick up the order yourself, but if you're looking for something sweetly spectacular I'm sure you can find it here!
