Hi Lisa,
Welcome to planDisney! Disney Gift Cards are a great way to pay for your trip and all of your purchases while you are on vacation. I like to use them as a way to help budget myself or my kids when buying souvenirs and extras on a day-to-day basis. Disney makes it super easy to combine all of your Disney Gift Cards into one single payment method.
To combine all of your gift cards into one single payment method go to
disneygiftcard.com. You will need to log in using your My Disney account. It will be the same login you use for
My Disney Experience if you are unsure what username and password to use. Once you are logged in, you can add all of the Disney Gift Cards or eGift cards in your possession and then transfer them all to a single Disney Gift Card to use for payment. This will also serve as a backup system in case you happen to lose one of them.
At this time, only credit or debit cards can be added as your default payment method in a My Disney account. There are still two options for using a Disney Gift Card while vacationing at Disney World. The first and easiest method is to convert your gift card into an eGift card and store it on your phone for easy scanning when shopping throughout Disney World. If you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you can also have your purchases charged back to your room by scanning your
MagicBand+ or using
Disney MagicMobile on your cell phone. Before checkout head down to the front desk and have them use your gift card to pay your balance. Whatever is left after the gift card is applied will be charged to the payment on file.
Happy Planning,
Jenna
