Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for visiting with your question. Your trip to Disney World is coming up soon, how exciting! Let's get your theme park reservations squared away for everyone in your party... so you can all do some pixie-dusted partying together!
First off to clarify, many Disney park tickets do not require a
theme park reservation. So if the additional Guest in your party has a dated park ticket, no reservation is needed. It sounds like you already have some theme park reservations though, so let's talk about how to add another Guest in case they have a similar ticket type.
You'll want to head to the
Make Theme Park Reservations page where you're able to make, modify, or cancel any reservations. If you don't see your existing park reservations here, log in to your My Disney Experience account. It's a good place to double check your dates, park selection, and Guests on your existing reservation. In order to add more Guests, the site directs you to simply make a new reservation for the same date and park for your additional Guest(s). Guests with separate reservations for the same date can still plan as a group!
If you are connected under My Family & Friends, you should be able to make this park reservation as well as any other plans for your friend... including things like
Lightning Lane reservations or dining plans. Magic Kingdom is one of my favorite parks to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass, because my family is able to really maximize it's value and pack more into our Disney Day! If you are considering it, I always tell people to select as early of a return time as possible for at least one attraction. Then as soon as you tap in, immediately hop on the My Disney Experience app and grab another Lightning Lane! These additional, same day passes are subject to availability, but there are no tier restrictions on them. Ka-chow!
