Hi there, Jyillean - welcome to
planDisney!
I'm so happy to chat with a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member and I'm glad to help with your DVC question today.
I love exploring the restaurants at
Walt Disney World Resort - I have just scratched the surface and have many more to try.
Disney Dining Plans make it easy to budget for various types of dining from Character dining experiences to trendy restaurants at
Disney Springs. I'm keeping an eye on news about Din Tai Fung, one of the newest restaurants opening at Disney Springs this week. I'd love to try it the next time I visit Walt Disney World Resort.
Jyillean, good news, adding a Dining Plan to your Disney Vacation Club Reservation is easy. You'll need to log in to your account on the
Disney Vacation Club website and click on your reservation. Click on "Purchase Dining Plans" and you're good to go!
Guests can add one of two Disney Dining Plan options to a
Disney Resort Hotel stay: the
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan or the
Disney Dining Plan. Each plan offers unique benefits, and one might be a better fit for your family. Some members of your party may even prefer different options. For short trips where I plan to spend most of my time in the parks, I choose the Quick-Service Dining Plan to maximize my time on attractions. However, I also enjoy the Disney Dining Plan, which includes a Table-Service credit, allowing me to enjoy a fantastic meal each day. Additionally, the Disney Dining Plan allows guests to book Character Dining or Fine/Signature Dining (each counts as two table-service meals per person). My daughters were thrilled with their experience at
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White; the character interactions were truly memorable!
Both dining plans include a 16-ounce Resort Refillable Mug that can be filled at Disney Resort Hotel self-service beverage stations. These stations have soda, coffee or tea and are good for up to 14-days or the duration of your stay. They are also a fun souvenir!
Jyillean, I hope this information helps with your vacation planning. Don't forget to check out menus on the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, I love looking at food options even if it does make me hungry!
Happy planning,
Candace
