    I’m coming out in January ‘25. Hoping the Dinosaur ride will still be open — do you know if it will?

    Hi Diane, welcome back to planDisney! 

    What a great way to start 2025 - a Walt Disney World Resort visit sounds like a perfect way to welcome the New Year!

    I love visiting the theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort and seeing new offerings each time. On some trips I've experienced new attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and TRON Lightcycle / Run and others there have been smaller attractions and experiences that were new or updated such as Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360. In order for these new attractions and experiences to be re-imagined, regrettably, sometimes we must bid farewell to others first.

    My family has many happy memories in DinoLand U.S.A. and while we'll be sad to see attractions such as DINOSAUR and TriceraTop Spin become extinct, a new "Tropical Americas" area featuring Encanto sounds very exciting! Disney has not yet officially announced closing plans for DinoLand U.S.A. so unfortunately, I don't have any insight for your January 2025 vacation. I recommend staying updated through the Disney Parks Blog and the official Walt Disney World Resort website for the latest announcements.
