Hi Andrea,
Getting to Disney World and wanting to add more theme park days is a common problem! You are in good company and Disney World has an easy fix that allows you to add more days to your theme park tickets. We have done this several times when plans have changed on the fly and it is really easy to navigate.
If you purchased tickets separate from your Disney Resort hotel reservations, you can go to your
My Disney Experience app and log in to make ticket modifications. Navigate to "My Plans" and then select "My Tickets and Passes." Scroll through until you find the ticket you wish to modify, and select the option to "Change Ticket." You will be able to add days, add the
Park Hopper Option, or adjust the dates of your ticket. If you add days, you will be prompted to pay the additional cost of your upgraded tickets at check out. If you are already at Disney World, you are welcome to stop by
Guest Services at the front of each theme park, and they can make any changes for you if you don't feel comfortable modifying it on your own!
Make sure that all changes to your tickets are made before the ticket is used in full. Modifications are no longer available once you have redeemed all the days on your Disney World theme park tickets.
If you purchased your theme park tickets as part of a Disney World Vacation Package, you will need to modify the entire package to add additional days to your tickets. This is easier to do on the desktop version of My Disney Experience. You will navigate to "My Plans" and choose "Modify Reservation" next to the package you purchased. If you would be more comfortable having Disney World help you make these changes, you can
call Existing Tickets and have them make the modifications for you!
Happy Planning,
Jenna
