Hi, Chris! Thanks for taking the time to send in your question to planDisney! As I look out at the snow in my backyard, it sure is nice dreaming about playing golf in the Sunshine State. I'd be happy to offer you some help to ensure your trip is tee-riffic!
One option would be to add the Water Park and Sports option to your Standard Theme Park Ticket by calling (407) 934-7639. This ticket upgrade allows you to visit one theme park per day, plus enjoy a certain number of visits to a water park or other Walt Disney World Resort fun.
Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course is included, and it is a family-friendly, par-36 nine-hole walking course.
If you are a more seasoned golfer, I suggest playing the championship 18 hole courses.
Disney's Palm Golf Course,
Disney's Magnolia Golf Course, and
Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course have all hosted Disney PGA TOUR tournaments. My husband has a single-digit handicap, and he attests that these courses are in great shape and offer plenty of challenges. And don't forget to notice the famed
Mickey-shaped bunker on No. 6 at the Magnolia course-- just try not to land in it! These courses cannot be added to your tickets. However, they will often run
Sunrise 9-Hole and Sunset 9-Hole Golf Promotions, which might work out well if you plan to hit the theme parks in the evening. Players can also rent TaylorMade clubs and Adidas golf shoes for extra convenience. For more information, call (407) WDW-GOLF or (407) 939-4653. You can also book your tee times online through the golfwdw.com website.
I hope your trip is un-fore-gettable, Chris! We hope to see ya real soon!
