Howdy, Donna!
If you are ready to experience the wilderness in true Disney style, you are surely headed to the right place! I love the peaceful ambiance of
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. While I haven't yet been lucky enough to stay there myself, cruising around in my own personal
golf cart looks like an un-BEAR-lievably fun time.
Donna, if you would like to add an extra night to your existing reservation, you can easily do so on the official Walt Disney World Resort website. I recommend that you do one of two things:
First, price out your option by modifying your reservation through your
My Disney Experience Account. Go to "My Plans" and then select "Change Reservation" next to your confirmation number. If this option doesn't appear you will have to call the friendly Cast Members and they should be able to help.
Your second option, and the one that I would choose if modifying your existing reservation negatively affects the "
Special Offer" that you received when you initially booked, you can book just a single day. You can then link that one-day reservation to your My Disney Experience Account.
Once you arrive at Disney's Ft. Wilderness Resort, head to the Reception Outpost to let the Cast Members know you have two reservations. While they can not guarantee to keep you at the same campsite, it has been my experience that they try as hard as possible to avoid having to move you.
Keep an eye out and you may even be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of everyone's favorite chipmunks roaming around the wilderness!
Adventure is out there!
