how do I add a crib to my hotel room?

Hi Emily! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

Taking little ones to Walt Disney World Resort is such a magical experience.  As a mom of three, I've heard all about how little ones "won't remember" their first visit, but you know what? YOU WILL, and I promise you won't regret it! There's nothing like seeing your tiny tot take in "it's a small world" for the first time, or sharing their first Mickey Premium Bar in the shade of Cinderella Castle.  I think you'll find that all these magical moments will surely bring you lasting memories.

Since your visit is coming up in just a few days (yay!) you have a few options when it comes to requesting a crib or Pack 'n Play for your little one. Since there are a limited number of cribs and Pack 'n Plays available at each Resort you may want to take a few minutes today to submit your request either online on the Walt Disney World Resort website chat or by calling the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line at (407) 939-1936.  A friendly Cast Member should be able to assist you in adding the request to your reservation and you can confirm with the Front Desk upon arrival.  You're also able to wait and simply make the request once you've arrived at your Disney Resorts Collection hotel if you would rather.

While the Resort will provide a sheet for the crib, I always bring one of my own as well as a favorite blanket.  I don't know about yours but my kids tend to be nocturnal. Mimicking the smells and comforts of home tends to help them relax in an unfamiliar place.  You definitely don't want to be sleep-deprived when you're planning to get up and out the door for rope drop at Magic Kingdom!

While you're in the Parks make sure to stop by the Baby Care Centers if you need any supplies like diapers or wipes, or if you're just looking for a cool and quiet place to relax with baby for a few minutes.  With changing tables, highchairs for feeding, and rocking chairs for nursing it's a nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle and excitement of the Parks.

    Have a magical stay!

Meet the Panelist: Ashley, Massachusetts

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
