How do you actually use the Multi pass? Do you need to have the app or physical ticket?

Hi Jake! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

I think you're going to love the ability to spend more time enjoying the parks and less in queues with Lightning Lane Multi Pass. It's an option my family always selects either at the time of ticket purchase or using the Disneyland mobile app after scanning into the parks. Prices, terms, and availability are subject to change. I'm happy to explain how to use this great feature you've selected once you've arrived at the parks today!

The Disneyland mobile app will be your handy tool for the day for everything from booking and redeeming your Lightning Lane Entrances to mobile ordering food and beverages. If you play around in the app before you're arrival, you'll be more comfortable with its features. So, if you have the time to do so, I recommend it.

Once you've scanned into the parks, open your app. Tap the three-bar menu on the bottom right side. This will bring up a series of tiles. Tap "Rise, Shows & Lightning Lane Entry." If you only want to view Attractions that offer a Lightning Lane Entrance, slide the bar to the right next to "Show Only Lightning Lane Experiences." You should now see a list of available Multi Pass Experiences. Scroll through these and tap the Attraction for which you'd like to book a return time. Availability may be limited especially as the day goes on, so arriving earlier will give you the most value for your Lightning Lane Multi Pass.

When selecting a Lightning Lane Entrance return time, be aware that you can either book again in 2 hours or after you've scanned into your Lightning Lane Entrance, whichever is sooner. So, if I book Autopia in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park for 8:00 AM Pacific Time and scan into that Attraction at 8:05 AM, I can immediately open the app and select my next Multi Pass Experience. I typically book my next Attraction under these circumstances while in the queue to ride the current Attraction. I don't need to wait 2 hours. However, if I book the nearby Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters at 8:00 AM for an 11:00 AM Multi Pass Experience, I'll need to wait until 10:00 AM to book my next Multi Pass Experience.

    I hope this helps!
