Are there activities at Magic Kingdom for my 1 year old twins? Are there any rides they would enjoy?

    Hi Margaret,

I first took my twins to Walt Disney World when they were just under one year old. We all had a wonderful time. There is plenty for even babies and toddlers to do at the parks and resorts.

You should know that your children can go on any ride for which there is no height requirement. This gives you dozens of rides to choose from. For example, at the Magic Kingdom they can ride Dumbo, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, the carousel, Small World, Jungle Cruise, Buzz Lightyear, and many more. Other rides that are great for babies are the Kilimanjaro Safari at the Animal Kingdom, the Finding Nemo ride at Epcot, and the Toy Story ride at Hollywood Studios.

When my kids were babies, they liked the shows even more than the rides. Some good choices are the Magic Kingdom stage shows, Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast at DHS, and the Lion King and Nemo shows at the AK. You'll also want to get in lots of character greetings, character meals, and some playtime at your resort pool.

I'm happy to give you more specific information about any of these activities and attractions. Just let us know what you need.
