Welcome to planDisney, Staci! It sounds like you are counting down to a SPOOK-tacular time at Walt Disney World Resort in a few short weeks!
Although all four theme parks get into the Halloween spirit, none does it better than
Magic Kingdom Park! Starting next week, Main Street, U.S.A., will be dressed up in its finest fall splendor. There will also be seasonal treats, including my favorite, the Pumpkin-spiced Waffle Sundae, plus Halloween themed merchandise.
For the first time in forever, guests will be allowed to visit the Magic Kingdom wearing costumes during regular park hours, from September 15 through October 31! And just today, it was announced on the
Disney Parks Blog that Halloween-themed cavalcades featuring Disney characters in BOO-tiful costumes will pop up each day. While you don't need to be in the Magic Kingdom on October 31 to experience these frightfully fun things, it is extra magical to be there on Halloween Day. I just checked the
Disney Park Pass Availability Calendar, and there are still some park passes up for grabs that day. If you do decide to switch, you might just see me heading to Space Mountain with my Maleficent ears on!
However, you can still eat, drink, and be scary over at
Disney's Hollywood Studios, Staci! A great way to get in the spooky spirit would be to book a meal at Hollywood & Vine for Minnie's Halloween Dine, where Minnie, Mickey, and their pals will be making special appearances. Reservations for this experience will be available beginning September 11. I also recommend checking out the Disney Parks Blog for their
2020 Fall Treats Foodie Guide. That Pumpkin Tiramisu has my name written all over it!
Have an eek-tastic Halloween, and
bone appetite, Staci!
