It is wonderful to hear from you! The
youth programming offered by Disney Cruise Line is one of many reasons my family continues to choose Disney when it is time to get away from the real world! Children from the ages of 3 to 17, are entertained, engaged and in a safe environment when they visit the youth spaces on any of the Disney ships. Edge is especially designed for the tweens onboard from the ages of 11-14 while Vibe is for the teens ages 14-17. Both clubs offer an inviting space that is innovative and trendy! Lots of technology is available in both facilities as well as programming such as Gender Wars, Anyone Can Cook, That's Hilarious, Disney Animation, Crafts, Ship Factor, Hold the Phone, Four Square and many more. My daughter participated in Edge on our last sailing and loved the time she was able to spend hanging out and enjoying the planned programming. We made sure she went the first night for the ice breakers where she met several friends who she is still communicating with via email and FaceTime!
Once you are onboard the ship, a daily cruise newsletter will delivered each night to your stateroom. It will have all the activities and events scheduled for the next day including Vibe and Edge. My suggestion is to bring along a highlighter so your teen/tween can mark which activities are a "must do" for the following day. Many of the activities are offered more than once so don't worry if there is a conflict.
