If I (active duty military member) buy a park hopper pass can I buy an additional one for a friend that is not a military member? Would they be allowed to enter the park without a military ID or a military dependent ID

Hi Luke, and welcome to planDisney! First and foremost, thank you for your service to our nation! I appreciate it!

As an active-duty service member, you are entitled to purchasing 6 Disney Armed Forces Salute tickets each year. You can purchase them at your Leisure/Travel office on base, or order them from the Shades of Green Attractions Sales Tickets Office. You'll receive paper vouches with a barcode that you can link to your My Disney Experience app on your phone. Once you arrive to any of the four theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort, stop by Guest Relations with those paper vouchers and your Military ID to activate. As the service member, you have to be present to activate, or if you have a spouse they can show theirs if you plan on not going. It is very important that you are present to activate, and that you have that voucher in hand, otherwise you cannot get into the parks! Another great military discount you should check out is for Disney's PhotoPass, which gives you all the photos from the rides, as well as any family pictures you take through out the parks! The Cast Members at Guest Relations will be able to assist you with purchasing PhotoPass as well.

I hope I have answered your questions today, Luke! Thank you for your service once again, and happy planning!
