My Active duty Army spouse received sudden orders to deploy for the remainder of the length of our annual pass. He was only able to use it once. Is it possible for me to switch the pass to another adult who would be accompanying me to help with the kids?

    Hello there, Nellie!

A warm welcome to planDisney and thank you for bringing us an excellent question about Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passes. First and foremost, I'd like to thank your family for its sacrifice to our great nation. While I'm sorry to hear that your spouse won't be able to utilize his Annual Pass to its fullest, I do honor and respect the reason. I'm happy to help point you in the right direction towards a satisfactory solution!

Nellie, just like theme park tickets, Annual Passes are non-refundable and non-transferable between Guests. Given the unique circumstances your family is in, I encourage you to reach out to the friendly Cast Members at the V.I.PASSHOLDER Support email address or phone line to evaluate your options. Alternatively, if you live near The Most Magical Place on Earth, you could visit the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs, a Guest Relations location inside a theme park or Disney Springs, or any theme park ticket window to chat with a Cast Member in person. While the answer may be that the Annual Pass will have to go unused, I think it'd be good for you to speak directly with a Cast Member about this specific situation.

As a Florida resident and U.S. military family, your club of Mouseketeers has access to some of the best ticket and Disney Resort hotel discounts offered, Nellie! While your spouse is deployed, perhaps you could consider checking in at one of the incredible Disney Resort hotels for a little stay-cation with your children. As the spouse of a Military Service Member, you qualify for these delightful deals as long as you can present valid/active military identification in your husband's absence. Keep an eye out for other special offers that may apply to you as well!

Nellie, I hope you've found this information helpful and I wish you and your family all the very best during your husband's deployment. Again, thank you for your dedication and commitment to our nation. If you have any additional questions about your next visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, you're always welcome to find us here at planDisney! We're all ears.

    See ya real soon,

    Lauren
