When I activated my annual pass we got character cards at the ticket center. When my magic bands came in the mail there was also a card with a castle on it. Are they the same. Do I need to destroy the character card? I am confused.

    Hi Kathryn!

The tickets you were given with the character on them at the ticket center, are the hard copy ticket of your Annual Pass.   This is the ticket number that should be linked to your My Disney Experience account.  It's always a great idea to keep this card in a handy safe spot. The card you received in the mail with the picture Cinderella Castle on it is your Walt Disney World Passholder discount card.   You need to show this card along with a valid i.d. to receive your discount on merchandise and recreation.   On the back of the card will be your name and the expiration date of your Annual Pass.   You can also show the gold card to utilize your parking benefits at the theme parks.

I hope this has helped answer your questions Kathryn.   Enjoy making 365 days of magical memories with your Annual Pass.   And please visit us again with any additional questions you may have.
