If you have a
MagicBand+, be sure to charge it before your arrival and to bring the charger with you on your visit to ensure that it will be activated for your entire stay.
To begin, be sure that you have a My Disney Experience account. If not, create one and if you do have an account, just log in.
To link Your MagicBand to Your My Disney Experience Account by using the My Disney Experience Website, log into your My Disney Experience account. Hover over “My Disney Experience” in the top right corner and select “My MagicBands and Cards.” Next, scroll down to “Link a MagicBand" and enter the 12-digit ID number found on the back of your MagicBand. You'll then assign it to the correct guest profile in your Friends & Family list. Finally, click “Confirm”, and you’re all set!
Using the My Disney Experience App, open the
My Disney Experience app on your phone. Tap the three lines in the bottom-right corner to open the menu and select “MagicBands & Cards.” Next, tap “Link MagicBand or Card.” Then you'll scan the QR code or enter the ID manually from the back of your MagicBand. Follow the prompts to assign it to the right guest.
Each
MagicBand is linked to one person and cannot be transferred. If you have an older MagicBand, it may still work as long as it’s active in your account!
