It’s a bibbidi bobbidi beautiful day today at planDisney, Cheryl!
The magic is calling, and I’m so glad you’ve decided to answer! When I first purchased my own
Annual Pass, I decided this was how Cinderella must have felt when she was invited to the ball. Returning to the magic all year long is priceless to us. And when the Disney Parks Blog announced
new Annual Pass sales, subject to availability, I was elated because I know many Guests have been waiting for this moment.
Cheryl, Annual Passes are first activated upon first use. So, the first time you enter a theme park using your Annual Pass as valid admission, it’s activated. After that, you have 365 days before it expires! Yippie!
For instance, if you purchase your Annual Pass in April of this year and enter a theme park using the Pass in September of this year, your timer will not begin until you make your first visit, which would be 365 days from the date you entered in September.
Your Annual Pass will also show the expiration date in your My Disney Experience account as soon as it has been activated. So, once you’ve entered a theme park for the first time using your Pass, you can check the expiration by opening up your
My Disney Experience Mobile App, tapping on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right, and selecting
Tickets and Passes. There, you can see your Annual Pass, and under it will display the expiration date. You can also check the admission calendar there if you purchase a pass with blockout dates.
If you’re considering purchasing a new Annual Pass, you may find the
Walt Disney World® Resort Annual Pass Terms and Conditions helpful. I can tell you from experience once I bought mine, I never looked back!
To
pick up your Annual Pass, you can visit any of the Guest Relations outside of the four theme parks or at the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs.
Here’s to many more enchanting visits to the magic, Cheryl! I hope you have a ball!
