Magic Key Holder like yourself and I hope you've been able to use yours to experience the magic of the Disneyland Resort many times this year. I can certainly understand when life throws you a curveball and you aren't able to follow through on those park reservations that you've made, though.
I'm glad to hear that your penalty period is at an end! I'm wondering if there was perhaps a software glitch that affected the resolution of your Magic Key's penalty state? I remember seeing reports on social media about technical issues involving a third party payment vendor that caused a delay in processing payments for a number of days around that time. I suspect that it has since been corrected and that you will now be able to make
park reservations again. If you check and find that you are still unable make a new reservation, I would recommend contacting a Cast Member at the
Magic Key Holders line and requesting their assistance.
Have you used the Magic Key Portal found in the
Disneyland Mobile App yet? I find all sorts of neat souvenirs and Magic Shots that are offered only to Magic Key Holders. And if you haven't already, I'd highly recommend making reservations at the
Magic Key Terrace. I recently hosted my sister's family there and we had a wonderful meal overlooking the Park.
