Hi April! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
I love being a
Magic Key holder because of the great
discounts and perks, as well as having more access to the parks. I'm currently daydreaming and planning for our upcoming trip to celebrate the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. The holiday overlays are on our can't-miss list, including the iconic "it's a small world" Holiday in Fantasyland at Disneyland Park.
However, sometimes life gets in the way, and you can't make the visit you've been dreaming of. Sudden illness, for example, can make missing a
theme park reservation unavoidable. I suggest creating a reminder on your mobile device with an alarm for the day before your planned visit so you don't trigger the no-show policy. This will allow you time to cancel or modify if you know in advance that you won't be able to make your reservation.
At this time, after 3 no-shows, you are prevented from making a new theme park reservation or modifying an existing one for 30 days. It sounds like that's the situation you're currently in and you aren't able to modify an existing reservation you know you will have trouble making. The good news is that a fourth no-show won't change your current 30-day period. However, if you miss two more within 90 days, you'll hit that 3 no-show limit again and start a new 30-day window where you're prevented from making or modifying existing theme park reservations. That's what you want to avoid if possible!
So, if you're able to come scan into the park, do so. It'll prevent you from accruing any no-shows. However, if that's impossible, just be sure there aren't another 2 no-shows on your horizon within this 90-day window. Terms are subject to change.
I hope this helps.
Elizabeth
