Hi Deanne! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
Are you excited for your chance to join the virtual waiting room and attempt to purchase your shiny new
Magic Key? Being a Magic Key holder means more access to the magic of the parks, perks, and discounts. I've loved being a Magic Key holder, but it's important you select the right one for your needs. Before purchasing, be sure you've read all the terms, including
Blockout dates. Magic Keys can't be transferred or canceled, so you want the correct one for you! Terms and prices are subject to change.
I have good news for you: Disneyland Resort has a
Buying Guide, which I think you'll find really useful as you prepare for sales to open up. As noted in the guide, you will need a MyDisney account to purchase your Magic Key. Since you already have one, you only need to worry about updating your profile before the big day. Since you're a California resident, add your permanent residence to your profile information. This will unlock the ability to access monthly payments and if you're a SoCal resident, you ZIP Code will enable you to purchase the Imagine Key if it is available. When you navigate to your
Profile, the site will ask you to log in. Use your MyDisney credentials. You'll also always find a "Log In or Create Account" link at the top of the page when you're not logged in. Click to log in.
Also, take the time now to update your payment information now. Your billing address will need to be a California address to qualify for the great monthly payments option. Once you've updated your profile, you're set for sales to open. Be sure you're one of the first in line! Availability may be limited and is not guaranteed. Many Guests have been excited for sales to start again, so some Magic Keys may sell out quickly.
On the day of the sale, sign in and navigate to the
Magic Key page. This is where you'll enter the waiting room queue. Be sure not to close that tab once you're in!
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed you get your perfect Magic Key.
