Hi Troy! Welcome to planDisney!
I love to see Guests who are booking stays at
The Most Magical Place on Earth quite a few months in advance! Just knowing you have a trip to Walt Disney World Resort on the horizon makes each day a little brighter, and you get to start your countdown nice and early! With a group like yours, you're sure to have an amazing time checking out all four Theme Parks, maybe the two incredible Water Parks and the shopping, dining, and entertainment district of
Disney Springs!
Every
Disney Resorts Collection hotel is unique and I'm positive that no matter where you stay you'll feel the magic all around you. My family and I always choose to stay in a Disney Resort because we love being as close as possible to the Parks, using Disney's complimentary transportation, and getting extra time in the Parks with
Early Theme Park Entry!
With a party over the size of 12, you'll want to look into finding accommodations that can keep you all close to each other, even if you're not all in the exact same Guest room or suite. The largest accommodations on Disney property are 3-Bedroom Grand Villas, which you'll find in Deluxe Villa Resorts like
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa,
Disney's Riviera Resort, and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. These Villas can host a maximum of 12 adults and an infant under the age of three.
You may be interested in searching for three Family Suites that are close together at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. These Family Suites are themed after some of your favorite Disney movies like The Lion King and Finding Nemo, and each suite accommodates up to six adults comfortably.
Another option would be to make reservations at
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. These rustic but comfortable cabins can host up to six adults and even include a kitchen, living area, and front porch, so your entire crew can hang out together between time spent at the Theme Parks!
As I'm sure you know, you also always have the option to book standard Resort rooms at any Disney Resorts Collection hotel and request that they are close to one another. You can do this through the Chat feature on the Walt Disney World website or right at the time you're making your reservations! Before you check out, just click "Room and Amenity Requests" and then "Nearby Room". Cast Members will do their best to accommodate your request, but these cannot be guaranteed.
No matter how you end up dreaming, I hope you have a wonderful stay at Walt Disney World Resort!
