Hello, Praveen Kumar! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. I’m happy to help!
I completely understand how easy it is to get caught up in the excitement of planning a Disney vacation, only to realize later that you’ve booked tickets for the wrong park. It’s great that you reached out to Disneyland already! Since Disneyland and Walt Disney World operate separate ticketing systems,
Disneyland tickets can typically only be applied toward a future Disneyland visit rather than being transferred to Walt Disney World. Unfortunately, all tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. I know that’s not the news you were hoping for, especially if your heart is set on visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth.
I spoke with a Cast Member in Guest Services today, and she recommended calling the
Walt Disney World Ticketing Department for the most up-to-date guidance. You can also visit
Guest Relations in person once you arrive. While exceptions aren’t guaranteed, they will be able to review your specific situation and explore any possible options.
If your visit is planned for this summer, be sure to check out the details on
Walt Disney World’s special offer on select kids’ tickets (children ages 3 to 9 can visit for 50% off)! Plus, some exciting new experiences are debuting, including
Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, a dazzling new nighttime parade at Magic Kingdom.
Sending you pixie dust that everything works out, and I hope you have a magical visit!
