Hi there, Kathryn! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so excited to hear you are planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I'll be happy to "
zoom in and focus" on your question!
Unfortunately, you won't be able to apply the value of the extra
Memory Maker to a
Capture Your Moment Photo Session. However, let the second Memory Maker stay linked to your account; the good news is that the value of an unused Memory Maker doesn't expire, and it is not assigned to a specific set of dates, so it can simply stay on your account for your next visit!
Also, Memory Maker will only link to one person. Since Memory Maker was assigned to you during checkout, you are the person who will have the download ability from your
My Disney Experience account. Any '
Family & Friends' connected to your account can take their own pictures and ask the PhotoPass Photographer to scan their MagicBands (or phone using
MagicMobile). Your daughter can take photos for you to download with Memory Maker when you are not together, so the spare one does not need to be linked to her. Just remember that your
images will expire 45 days after the first one is taken.
I'm a big fan of Magic Shots, which is when a
Disney PhotoPass photographer includes a special effect with your photo. Think of it as an extra sprinkle of pixie dust! Usually, unique ones are added during the holiday season, such as having your picture taken with some mistletoe or looking like you're inside a snow globe. Follow
Disney PhotoPass Service on Instagram for a sneak peek of the fun shots available during your upcoming trip!
Get ready to say "cheese" with the "Big Cheese," Kathryn. See ya real soon!
