Jason, I'm so sorry to hear that you accidentally linked a new MagicBand to your wife's account. At this time, once a MagicBand has been linked to a Guest, it
cannot be relinked or transferred to another Guest. If you do not wish to purchase an additional MagicBand for yourself, you're welcome to use
Disney MagicMobile Service (it's complimentary!), which saves your ticket to your smartphone's wallet so you can easily tap in without even having to unlock your phone. In addition, you can stop by a ticket window to grab a physical plastic ticket card that you can keep on hand when tapping in at the entrance to the Disney Theme Parks.
Happily, your wife can
still use any MagicBand that is linked to her account, even if she has more than one. If you decide that you'd like to shop for a MagicBand once you arrive, you'll find them in the gift shops throughout Walt Disney World Resort, and a Cast Member will gladly help you link it to the correct account. I love the new MagicBand+ designs, and I am so glad that they come with a charger so that I never have to worry about it running out of battery!
