Welcome to
planDisney, Megan!
I’m happy to help you! If the
theme park ticket you linked to your Dad hasn’t been used, you can still reassign it. It is only “nontransferable” after someone has used it.
To reassign your ticket, sign into your
My Disney Experience account on a computer or open up your My Disney Experience app. Select “Tickets and Passes” and select the ticket that you assigned to your Dad. You will see an option below it that says “Reassign Ticket.” You can then select a new guest on your list to assign that ticket to. It takes a minute or two to update sometimes, so be sure to refresh your page.
Before your visit, remember that you can start making your
dining reservations 60 days ahead of time. You still have time to make some reservations for your upcoming trip. I really like having a lunch plan in the works for theme park days. A nice lunch is a great way to take a break and enjoy a great meal!
Megan, I hope this information is helpful! For more planning advice about the Walt Disney World Resort, you can always follow us on
social media. One of us is always out and about, exploring all the new fun activities at the theme parks!
