Hiya, Leah, and thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with this great question. You'll be arriving at Walt Disney World Resort in just a few sleeps! Let's look at your Disney Resort Hotel room layout so you'll be prepared for a magical stay.
Unfortunately, cots and rollaway beds aren't available at
Disney's Pop Century Resort due to safety and fire code laws. But let's take a closer look at an
accessible room at this resort to see whether it works for your party.
There are a few accessible room options, so my first tip is to head to the
Room Rates tab to view photos. Find the room category you booked and then tap the blue "View Photos" icon under that room type. You'll see a dropdown menu labeled "Image Category" that lets you select "Accessible." Next, select your specific accessibility type from the "Room Selection" dropdown menu. You can scroll through photos of that specific room type and read the description of its accessibility options.
Typically, you'll have a comfy queen bed and a pull-down queen bed at this resort. My husband loves that the pull-down bed can be a table during the day, making it a great spot for work or our morning coffee. I hope this flexibility gives you enough space to enjoy your time here, Leah!
If you don't believe this room will accommodate your party, please call the
Ticket and Hotel Reservations line as soon as possible to explain your needs. They might suggest a room in a different accessible category and note it in your reservation.
Before I let you go, I wanted to point out the helpful information on the
Guests with Disabilities Overview page. You can select the
Mobility tab for tips on parking, rides, and more. You'll also see an email link near the bottom of the page if you have specific questions for the Guests with Disabilities team.
Leah, I'm wishing on a star that your upcoming vacation is practically perfect! Pop Century is one of my family's favorite Disney resorts, and I hope it becomes your home away from home, too. Please stop by
planDisney anytime!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
