Hi Shirley, and welcome back to planDisney! The area surrounding Beach Club Resort is one of my favorite places at Disney World. I love the laid-back vibes around Crescent Lake and, of course, the short walk to EPCOT!
Now, let’s chat about where to warm food and drinks while you’re staying at
Beach Club Resort. You can find a microwave at
Beach Club Marketplace that all guests can use. It’s part quick service eatery and part gift shop, so while you’re there, you can pick up a snack or even some new Disney merchandise!
If you’re staying in a
Disney Vacation Club Studio or Villa, you’ll actually have a microwave in your room. The standard hotel rooms and suites at Beach Club Resort don’t have a microwave, but if you’re planning to use one frequently throughout your stay, it may be worth calling
housekeeping to see if they can put a microwave in your room. It’s not guaranteed, but it wouldn’t hurt to ask.
Beach Club Resort is the practically perfect place to stay during the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts! But there’s also so much to do without even going into the theme parks. My family loves renting a
Surrey bike to ride around the BoardWalk and walking over to
Fantasia Gardens for mini golf. Also, be sure to check out the Activities Schedule on the
Recreation page to see what’s going on during your stay. The campfire and silent disco are always must-dos for me!
