What is acceptable and sensible clothing when using the bigger water rides? We'll be there in August. Many thanks.

    Hi David,

I assume you're asking about the water slides at the water Parks Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. Any swim wear is suitable for the slides but I would definitely recommend any ladies in your party wear a one piece swimming costume that day rather than a bikini!!! The only other real rule is that your swim wear must not have any exposed metal on it such as rivets, this is to protect the surface of the slides.

When I've visited the water parks in the past I've seen people in all types of swim wear including t-shirts and ladies in shorts. As you're visiting in August it may be worth investing in a swimming shirt to protect you from the sun. Shoes are also handy as the ground can get very hot, they can be worn on all the water slides except the very big ones!

    Have a great trip,

    Jo
