Ahoy, Reba! Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you have quite the swashbuckling adventure ahead on the
Disney Treasure...Yo Ho!
While I absolutely love getting into the spirit of
Pirate Night, I’m also someone who sometimes prefers to enjoy dinner in one of the adult-exclusive restaurants. The pirate-themed menu in the rotational dining rooms is fun, but
Palo Steakhouse is hard to resist.
The dress code at Palo is usually designed to keep the atmosphere elegant, with formal, semi-formal, or dress-casual attire recommended. However, Pirate Night is the one evening when you’ll see guests bending the rules a bit. It’s actually acceptable to wear pirate attire to Palo on Pirate Night, and I’ve seen plenty of mateys enjoy their meal fully decked out. As long as you follow the basic guidelines, such as no tank tops or flip flops, and men must wear long pants and collared shirts, you’ll fit right in. Think of yourselves as haute-couture buccaneers, and you’ll be perfectly welcome (which means no walking the plank)!
Here'a a little planDisney tip: arrive a little bit early and enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail at
The Rose Lounge. They pour some mighty fine spirits there, and that's the perfect way to start your evening, whether it includes pirate garb or not!
I hope this helps, Reba!
Sea ya real soon,
Eean
