2A/2C are traveling on the MAGIC in May. When we arrive in WDW can we purchase a dining plan for the day? Also, When we port in key west--if we are not interested in any port activities do we have to disembark or can we stay on to swim and get some R&am

    Ahoy Lisa!
A "Magic"al May sailing sounds just wonderful!  This is one of my favorite months to sail so I know you will enjoy the warm, tropical weather that awaits you!
My family enjoyed a day at Walt Disney World on our last sailing, and it was definitely one of the highlights of our cruise! Unfortunately, the dining plan cannot be included in your cruise package for your day at the parks.  My advice is to take advantage of the early breakfast offered onboard the ship so you will have plenty of fuel to get you going.  If you haven't already, I would make sure to make Advanced Dining Reservations if you are looking to enjoy a sit-down meal for your lunch and dinner.  When we experienced our day we actually just ate lunch in the parks and made it back to the ship for dinner.  An open seating was offered with extended hours on that evening of the cruise.
Staying onboard to enjoy the ship as the destination is always possible!  There will be plenty of activities offered, food choices available, and the pools will be less crowded.  I'm sure your crew will enjoy a little down time and R&R!
Thanks so much for visiting the Moms Panel, Lisa!  If you have any other questions, please let me know! I'm always happy to help!
    Have a magical day!
