Can you smell the love tonight, Amanda? You most certainly can at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge’s lobby, which is home to one of the warmest, most inviting scents ever!
I’m so glad you stopped by planDisney with your question today!
Call me
scent o’ mental but I too am a lover of many Disney scents. From Main Street, U.S.A.’s freshly baked cookie aroma to the maple caramel scent of
Main Street Confectionery; it’s like being transported back to all the enchanting memories I’ve made at
The Most Magical Place on Earth as soon as I take a whiff!
After falling in love with
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, I set out on a mission to discover how I could recreate the scents in my own home. I’m happy to share my research with you, Amanda; you’ll just have to stick around for my jokes even though they may not all make
scents. First and foremost, I found that at
Disney Springs, there is a candle shop called
Bowes Signature Candles inside the Marketplace Co-Op. Their Resort Signature Candles are inspired by some of our favorite Resort scents! I found Clover World to smell like Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and the Resort Signature, which I happen to be using at the very moment I’m writing this, to smell like Disney’s Boardwalk Inn Resort! Although they do not have a candle that is inspired by Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge yet, don’t lose hope! I have more information coming.
A simple Google search will find you many different candle companies who are fellow Disney enthusiasts and create scents inspired by our favorite Resort hotel lobbies; however, if you really want to take a
nose dive, you will want to check out Scent Air at scentairhome.com. One of my favorite Cast Members at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa told me it is a company Disney uses to provide fragrances, so of course, I bought a diffuser and although a bit pricey, it is completely worth it because my entire house smells like my favorite Resort hotel. Upon further research, I found they have a scent called Vanilla Suede Fragrance; it includes vanilla, musk, and sandalwood which is often how the scent of
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is described!
Amanda, I cannot wait for you to be transported back to your own safari adventure!
