Hi Rose, and thanks for visiting us at planDisney. I vacation all the time with my sister, so we’re always needing to book trips for our big, extended family! I’d be happy to chat about the best way to make multiple reservations.
First, let's talk about dining. Generally, you can’t have two dining reservations that overlap in My Disney Experience. So I’d recommend having two people book reservations for around the same time using their own account (if my sister and I can’t get the exact same time slots, we’ll try to choose times within about 15 minutes of each other). When you get to the restaurant, let a Cast Member at the check-in desk know that you’d like to be seated together or near each other, if possible. While it’s not guaranteed, they’ll try their best to grant your wish.
If you're looking to book two Disney resort hotel rooms, you'll need to do this in two separate transactions on the Disney World website. Alternatively, you can always call the
Tickets and Hotel Reservations phone number and a Cast Member would be happy to help book your vacation.
Now, let's chat about your trip. You’re getting to Disney World at the practically perfect time because
Cool KIDS’ SUMMER returns on May 26th! There are so many special activities going on, from character dance parties to magical games. You’ll also find lots of brand new happenings, like a
Bluey experience at Animal Kingdom and
Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! at Hollywood Studios. And I’m most excited for the new features on
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, when it reopens on April 8th, and the new mission on
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run debuting on May 22nd.
I’m wishing you a magical time at Disney World with your ‘ohana in May! And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome back at planDisney.
